Multidisciplined Engineering

Vantage can rapidly and efficiently deploy our pool of multidisciplinary technical talent to focus on potential projects. The ability to re-direct and reconfigure our teams and our expertise as needed provides the availability to do preliminary concept work on new ideas.

Vantage provides key engineering services to clients including NASA GSFC, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Our multidisciplined services span Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineering. Our aerospace engineering team has performed systems engineering functions for a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) commercial telecommunications satellite company in successfully developing, integrating, launching, and operating their two low-earth orbiting test satellites. Vantage also provided much of the systems engineering for the follow-on commercial telecommunications network to use the operational satellite constellation, global ground segment, and mobile user terminals. Our prior experience in major civil and military government programs gives us the background and capability to provide any desired development strategy, from a fully planned, documented, and controlled minimal risk approach to a quick, low-cost, minimum documentation, COTS integration with the emphasis on speed to market.

Systems Engineering

Vantage is known for providing topnotch Systems Engineers, including Lead Engineers on high-profile programs, to commercial and government customers. We have decades of experience in all phases of the project lifecycle, such as:

  • Mission concept and top-level system requirements definition
  • Operations concept and requirements development for all project segments
  • Trade studies, analysis, technology selection, and design at all levels and disciplines
  • Interface design, integration and test plans, operations planning, and design verification
  • Risk assessment and managment, system testing, operations process and product development

Software Engineering

Vantage understands the challenges of complex software engineering environments.
